Ultimate Curb Appeal

LOCATION: Mt. Lebanon

PROJECT INFO: The monochromatic color scheme of this home was hiding its true potential for curb appeal. To add a pop of color, we updated the second-floor siding to blue, creating contrast with the beige stone façade of the first floor. By building a small gable roof to the front entry, we built in protection from the weather and greater dimension. We stained the wood shutters, then installed a custom wood door to match. The roofs on the bay windows were changed out to copper to coordinate with the copper entry roof. Finally, new lighting, sconces and a pendant, help illuminate the beauty of this historic home. Now, the home shows off a mix of warm and cool tones alongside textural components to balance the overall aesthetic and max out its curb appeal.
