Triple Threat

LOCATION: Mt Lebanon, PA

PROJECT INFO: Saddled with two existing bathrooms that were inefficient and aesthetically outdated, this busy family of five needed more bathroom space. Our solution is a real showstopper. The redesigned master bathroom took over an underutilized sitting room within the master suite, boasting a large double shower with a long bench along the back wall. The floor tile rolls into the shower on the floor and continues up the back wall. Then, the window was enlarged to spill natural light into the bathroom and bedroom. Two sisters share the bathroom that sits where the old master bathroom existed. With an enclosed toilet room and a large double vanity there is plenty of room to cohabitate in this space. Storage is tucked into every nook and cranny. With the next update, their son was the lucky winner of an ensuite bathroom with access from his bedroom. He now has an extra-large soaking tub with terrazzo tile walls that pair beautifully with the bold, masculine floor tile. This family can really spread out into their own private spaces on their completely reconfigured new 2nd floor.
