PROJECT INFO: This patio was a blank slate with stamped concrete and a hot tub that wasn’t staying. The upper-level pool needed a lower-level covered patio that could match its party potential. A large roof with the lounge is central to the new patio, while a mechanical louvred pergola covers the giant outdoor kitchen. With composite cabinetry this kitchen has everything from a kegerator to ice maker to griddle. The exposed aggregate patio is supersized from its original perimeter and has substantial layered lighting for partying into the evening hours. Mechanical screens and infrared heaters makes the roof area a year-round outdoor entertainment venue. This new patio has become an extension of the first floor of this home, while serving guests comfortably and happily.
