Decked Out

LOCATION: Venetia, PA

PROJECT INFO: Whether working from home or entertaining, this deck is the place to be. This large composite deck with a double gable vaulted roof is an extension of the first floor. The lounge space is heated with a fireplace and infrared heaters. Stadium seating divides the lounge and dining but also faces the TV lounge space. The outdoor kitchen with grille flanks the end of the deck. The ceiling is corrugated metal to offset the warmth of the two-toned composite decking. To not obstruct the view, a vertical cable railing encompasses the perimeter of the deck. A mixture of stone and brick helps to aesthetically tie it into the existing brick home for the perfect finish. Now this space truly feels decked out.
