Brookline Black-Tie

LOCATION: Brookline, PA

PROJECT INFO: This was the world’s smallest, one-wall kitchen, including a floating range on the other side of the room. We had to knock the kitchen/dining wall down and fill in the exterior door to give this kitchen layout a glimpse of hope. Despite its size, we packed in a lot of functionality with the new cabinetry. The header needed to support the removal of the wall was distressed to give a reclaimed beam feel. The classic black and white contrasting cabinet to quartz colors are tied together with the mini-hexagonal marble backsplash. The breakfast bar seating connects the dining and kitchen for optimal entertaining. This is a study in maximizing space creatively.

PROJECT INCLUDES:

“Any designer can deliver on an unlimited budget. It requires true talent to take a small kitchen and an even smaller budget and come up with a fabulous, functional design. Emily at You-Neek Designs worked with me every step of the way to create an amazing kitchen that is truly the heart of my new home and a reflection of my personal style. Her industry expertise and professionalism in working with my contractor and the other vendors was outstanding. I would strongly recommend hiring Emily for any of your interior design needs.”
