Reclaimed Rustic

PROJECT INFO: After renovating the interior of this family’s home, it was clear the exterior was in equal need of TLC. To start, we filled in the existing concrete pool, removed a chain-link fence and took out 12 five-story pine trees to level the backyard. Building a two-tiered retaining wall in the backyard allowed us to incorporate a patio, extending the entire width of the house. Stairs were added at the rear entry sliding door so that the backyard could be all one level. To extend the home’s living space, we added a large shed roof to cover the existing concrete paver patio. This new covered space houses a TV lounge and dining area, making the space ideal for entertaining. The ceiling is a patchwork of corrugated metal,barn wood,barn doors provides a fun industrial/reclaimed vibe. Barn pendants, rotating oscillating fans and marine sconces complete the look. Now the exterior of this home is as appealing as it is inside!
